More than seven years ago, I began working on my "7th Century Box" project. At the time, I had no idea that it would be this long in the making, but this past week, it finally got "finished". Actually, it really is not finished yet, because it still wants hinges, a handle, a lock and some textile lining.
I have another blog which has a more in-depth look at the box and the background behind its making, but this blog was recently created to showcase my work without all of the historical research and commentary of the original blog, which has been active for the past ten years.
In this blog, there will just be pictures of my work with a few captions.
